Java's Bachelor Pad Magazine

My buddy Jason Croft, who runs the magnificent Java's Bachelor Pad, has a magazine that you just have to see to believe. He was gracious enough to send ye host a copy of issue #3, and I've gotta say that I'm much impressed. Think 1940's cheesecake in a 1960's Tiki style, with a splash of those digest-sized mags we all love and you get a MILD inkling of what it's all about. There are girls aplenty, but no overt nudity or gynecological exams here. It's all sex with sophistication. If you (or even your dad) was one of those guys wearing hats and drinking martinis during the Kennedy years, you'd have been reading magazines like this one.

This particular issue features three(!) pictorials of some of today's sexiest entertainers. If all you've ever seen of "erotic" artists is some tired-looking woman waiting for you to stuff a dollar bill in her g-string, you're in for a treat. These are ladies of class, sexiness, and style. If you don't know who Sabina Kelley, Ava Garter, or Orchid Mei are, be prepared to become big fans. There's also features, columns, and a few cartoons. This is the kind of stuff we look at here, but done in the modern day.

Java has a great radio gig in Chicago, too. You can download via his site (for free, natch) from either the live365 format or as a podcast. If the Rat Pack was still tearing up Vegas, this is the show they'd be listening to, baby!

Am I gushing? Hell, yeah! Java has always been a class act, and it shows in his websites and his magazine. I don't ask for money here, but I'm encouraging you, if you have the cash, to check out the magazine. Subscribe. It's well worth the price of admission.

Eric's Note: This is a review. I didn't receive a dime for posting this. I just want to encourage Jason to keep up the good work in all he does.
