New Logo

I decided to spruce up the logo a bit. The current one is NOT the one I'll stick with, but if anyone wants to contribute a logo, it would be much appreciated... Here are the requirements:

It MUST include our site mascot (Jackie Lane; see below).
It must have a retro feel to it.
It must be 700 width x 150 height pixels.
It must have a transparent alpha layer (to allow the blue background through).

If anyone feels the urge to be creative, please feel free to make something up. Otherwise, I'll come up with something myself. I just thought someone with more creativity could do better than me.

I think what you've got going

I think what you've got going looks pretty good except for the fact that the fonts don't look as solid or smooth around the edges as they might be. I always have a heck of a time with specialty fonts not working quite right except at large sizes that then don't look quite right when zapped down.

I agree about the fonts. It's not even the font I wanted, but I had to do it quickly, while I had a couple of free minutes. Not even my best work, let alone someone else's. It was quick, down, and dirty. LOL
