While there are a number of adult magazines in this world, they're not all the same. There are couples magazines, swingers magazines, x-rated magazines, etc. We're more interested in "girlie" magazines. So what's a girlie magazine? For our purposes (and your definitions may vary), it's a magazine that features nude or non-nude pictures of women in poses and scenes designed to titillate the viewer. And while you should never look a gift-horse in the mouth, we do have some requirements for what we display here.
This isn't exactly set in stone. While that's the Golden Age of girlie magazines, we're not going to kvetch about a magazine from the 1920's or even 1900. Those are perfectly acceptable. However, the cutoff date on the other end is December 1974 and that's pretty much non-negotiable . It's not an arbitrary date, but not related only to content. It's a pretty good rule of thumb for most mainstream publishers (for content). Beyond that, they began pushing the envelope. It's also related to publication dates. Once you start getting above a certain date, someone's not going to be happy about their content being here. So just to keep everyone happy, I don't let magazines from the 1980's on up to be posted here.
While "split-beaver" shots are tolerated, penetration is not. That's crossing the line into x-rated images in my opinion. That's not to say that I'm against them. (I've watched porn movies that would gag a maggot!) That's just to say that it's not where the main "thrust" of this website is (if you'll pardon the pun). Simulated sex acts are ok, although that's getting away from the point as well. Not trying to be a prude, just setting the boundaries between girlie mag and porno mag.
Well, that should cover it. If you have any questions, just shoot me a message here.
