Adam-Fawcett Publications

Fawcett's Adam predated the more well-known Knight Publications version of Adam by about 5 years. Despite bearing the same name, the two magazines could not have been more different. While Knight Publications made a girlie magazine, Fawcett's earlier mag used the "men's adventure" format (as exemplified by the October 1953 cover) with a few (non-nude) pin-ups included in every issue. True to Fawcett's other magazines, Adam was more wordy than visual.
